APPOINTMENTS AT THE COUCHICHING FAMILY HEALTH TEAM

With the recent decrease in COVID-19 risk in Simcoe Muskoka, the CFHT will no longer require masking when attending in-person appointments.

Masking in public spaces and for in-person appointments is now optional at the CFHT.  As a reminder, if you have respiratory, gastro-intestinal, or COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you call us to reschedule your in-person appointment.

Thank you for working alongside us to keep everyone safe!

LOOKING FOR A FAMILY DOCTOR?

We are proud to announce the Couchiching Primary Care Waitlist, an initiative by the Couchiching Ontario Health Team and Couchiching Family Health Team. This list aims to capture our own residents, ensuring each person is attached to a healthcare provider as soon as one becomes available. This proactive approach eliminates some of the barriers of the current Health Care Connect system, providing a more efficient pathway to care.

If you live in the Couchiching area (Ramara, Rama First Nation, Oro-Medonte, Severn, and Orillia) and don't have a family doctor or nurse practitioner, we can help you find a physician or nurse practitioner in your community. Please call 705-558-2261 and leave a message with the following information: name (as it appears on your health card), your date of birth, postal code and your contact information with email address and you will be contacted by one of our team members within 2 business days.

This line is being monitored from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.
